is a photographic testament to the forgotten conflict in Western Sahara —
a land marked by political struggles and a relentless quest for self-determination.
This work weaves together experimental storytelling through images and informative texts, giving voice to those who have been pushed into the dust of history.

‘Batuuri Days’ is an artistic exploration of one's own perception
from the perspective of a Batuuri (a foreigner, a white person)
of a foreign country and a different culture.
Initially, the resulting images showed a discrepancy to the author's own memories:
How does one present one's own perspective? When do you have the right to do so? What effect does the depiction of a country have?
It was only by layering and altering documentary motifs that a visual complexity emerged, enabling a more multifaceted view of Ghana and its people and correlating with the author's multi-layered experiences.
"Sceneries & Cows" is a photography project that showcases the diversity of West African landscapes, capturing the rapid changes in the environment experienced while traveling through the region.
Through a playful layout, landscapes are presented in pairs on consecutive pages, allowing for direct comparison of textures, colors, and forms when the pages are unfolded. The images are interspersed with photos of cows in unfamiliar terrain, adding a personal and humorous touch to the otherwise straightforward landscape photography book.

A photographic portrait of a mountain village in Graubünden, where alpine tourism has rapidly expanded over the last 60 years. The way of managing the influx of visitors while preserving the natural environment has been the challenge of the local Falerian community.
In this editorial film, there is a sense of melancholic exploration of time and identity. Time moves slowly, weighed down by sorrow, as a soul lost in despair searches for meaning. The mind becomes trapped in introspection, yearning for freedom but finding none. Each moment feels endless, as self-care fades and the outside world looms with fear and uncertainty. Yet, amidst the darkness, a flicker of determination remains, a quiet rebellion against the despair. How long can one remain trapped in their own sadness? Only time can reveal the answer.

Postcards from Athens
This work is part of the second issue of OG Magazine, where each author shared their unique perspective on Athens. For my contribution, I chose to explore 'Itchiagóra,' the local fish market. I wandered its aisles and halls multiple times, aiming to capture its diversity and the lively atmosphere.
The impact of the pandemic on Mallorca's tourism was devastating.
Visitor numbers as low as last seen in the 60s, plus a slump in sales of more than 80 percent. In figures, this is a difference of about 13 billion euros in turnoverin contrast to the previous year.
A large part of the hotels on Mallorca end their season at the end of September. The planned opening in spring 2020 was delayed or even never took place due to the corona pandemic. Thus, the facility I visited is also on hold and is maintained only to the most necessary, until someday guests may be welcomed again.
